Neurotransmitter Release: Gratitude triggers the release of dopamine and serotonin, neurotransmitters that improve mood, satisfaction, and feelings of pleasure. Reward System Activation: It activates brain regions associated with reward, such as the prefrontal cortex, enhancing emotional regulation and empathy. Brain Rewiring: Consistent practice strengthens neural pathways for gratitude, making the brain more resilient, positive, and focused, improving overall cognitive function.
